We are Smile of Hope African Ministries
SMILE OF HOPE AFRICA MINISTRIES (SOHAM) is a community-based organization operating in Uganda.
The ministry was founded by Pastor AKILIMALI DANANY and his wife GRACE BUNTU, the goal is to fulfil
the great commission (Mathew 28:16-20) through clear proclamation of the gospel and the demonstration
of God’s Love through his Son Jesus in word but also in deeds and by God’s grace bringing smiles and hope
in the lives of individuals and communities struggling due to different circumstances in Uganda and beyond.
SOHAM operate through and with different local churches and other like minded organizations to fulfill its mission and vision,
by focusing on planting and revitalizing churches, equipping church leaders, building community bible study groups,
education,entrepreneurship, skill development, children sponsorship,
counseling, and the demonstration of God’s love and care among others.
Our Mission is to share the gospel in our communities in words and actions by equipping disciples, empowering individuals with skills, entrepreneurship, health promotion, farming, strengthen the communities and other community based programs for the praise of His glorious name.
Our vision is to see Christ exalted, a world of hope and smile and overcoming material and spiritual poverty and living transformed lives.
